I managed to 'escape' for an hour on 'Henley Wednesday' to watch the 1st VIII row superbly and stay ahead of KGS. These photographs were captured as the crew returned victorious to the landing stage. Our very own Chris Troup (Y12) coxed the crew and he is featured, also with his 'rowing uncle' Mr. Crisford.

Summer Concert
Congratulations to all those who took part in this year's Summer Concert, thoroughly enjoyed by all those who were there. I know that Y9 were a little upset that they were not mentioned at the end by the Headmaster so........the whole year group performed superbly in the South African Samba. Skipwith were also represented in the Chamber Choir by Mr. Richard Bradley, Claudia le Blanc and Gracie Miller. Mr. Bradley also sang in the Community Choir with Mrs. Lisa Bell. The Orchestra included Tom Arnold, Alex Brogan, Ashley Copeland and Tim Noyce. Tom Arnold was also in the Funk Band and Gracie Miller rounded off the evening superbly in the Soul Band. All the girls helped to form the Girls' Choir so this included Skipwith's Alice Brown, Claudia le Blanc, Gracie Miller, Rebecca White, Jade Williams and Freya Lester

House Party and Awards
Apologies for not having any photographs (apart from the cake - obviously lovingly hand made by Matron!?!), as we were having too much fun, but I think all Skipwith pupils enjoyed their House Party on the last evening of term. We had a BBQ on the Terrace, and a bouncy castle and water slide on the lawn. It was a lovely atmosphere to celebrate the end of another academic year, as all pupils (and staff!) conducted themselves superbly.
There were many 'thank yous' and presents exchanged. In particular Mrs. Sarah Krause was thanked for her time in Skipwith, as she moves to help look after the Lower School, for which we of course wish her well. She has been a fantastic tutor and has been a superb 'Tuesday Night Girl' when on duty in the House. Tom, and Rachel, Crisford were thanked wholeheartedly for their support as they move off site. Tom made a warm speech, thanking all those who had supported him in Skipwith as Resident Tutor.
Announcements also included the appointments of Edward Sykes as Head of House and Michael Syropoulo as Deputy Head of House. Congratulations to them both on their achievement and I know they will work together as a team to help us get the very best out of Skipwith and it's pupils next year. We must certainly not end up 5th in the Baldry Trophy again - surely we are too good for that! The rest of the House, pupils and staff, will also support them in their new roles.
The Ivan Jacklin award for 'Commitment, Integrity and Investing in Others' was also presented to Freya Lester and Tom Arnold.
